Hats are where embroidery feels most at home. A front panel is a firm, curved surface that holds stitches neatly, which is why a small pet face or paw on a cap stays crisp wash after wash. How small is the design? Cap fronts allow a design about the width of a few fingers. At that size a portrait is simplified to the outline of the head, the ears, the eyes and nose and one or two signature colours. If your pet has a distinctive marking you want kept, write it in the note field of the custom hat. Very detailed or dark photos lose more detail, so a bright, front-facing photo works best.
Fit. Caps and beanies are one size with an adjustable back strap, snap or stretch knit. Measure around your head just above the ears; the Size Guide lists how each style adjusts. Bucket hats come in two sizes.
Care and delivery. Spot clean caps with a damp cloth and let them air dry on a rounded shape; hand wash beanies in cool water. Every hat is prepared in 1-3 business days and ships free from the USA to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, usually arriving in 7-14 business days.
